Project Description

Kindertransport is a play written by Diane Samuels, which examines the life, during World War II and afterwards, of a Kindertransport child.

I was the lighting designer for the show that was performed by the Deben Players at the Seckford Theatre in Woodbridge. this was a simple show that was mainly dominated by a warm white wash with certain special effects such as the light going past the windows of a train as the train was pulling away from the station and had to speed up while moving along the tracks, this was accomplished with three Source four profiles that were placed on the main front of house bar with their shutters in a square shape and this show was run from the playback faders that were built into the desk as this meant that should something change on the night this was easy to fix as there was no pre programming involved.
