Thank you for taking the time to visit my website! This website is based around my work as a lighting and sound technician, something that I have been passionate about long before I had my first chance at working in a theatre aged 14.
From a very young age I was always very keen on the lighting and sound industry. My grandfather was a DJ starting out in the 1960’s and is still going today so from a very young age when the equipment was out so that he could prepare for a disco this would be where I would spend all my time learning about the equipment and how to use it properly. It was working in this line of work and completing my first disco in 2012 when I was only 10 years old that I realised that it was the line of work that I wanted to get into.
At the age of 14 somebody that I went to high school with was involved in an amateur dramatics society and I wanted to get involved as either a lighting or a sound technician and this is where my work started out. I sent the producer of the show an email and asked if there would be space on the production team for their next show so that I would be able to get involved and learn about the industry. She quickly came back with a response asking me to be the lighting technician for the run of their show, this show was called “Thumbelina” you can find out more about this production in the portfolio section of my website.
After doing that initial show with the Deben Players this opened up many doors for me and I found myself doing more and more shows and four years down the line I am still going working harder than ever working on more and more shows.
